About
KIBERNETIKANTO is a creative technology studio based in the UK, delivering bespoke digital products, prototypes, and installations for clients across the arts, journalism, and research.
The work ranges from EU-funded installations exhibited at Ars Electronica to production-grade enterprise applications for major public and private sector organisations — the common thread is building things that work under real conditions, often on tight timelines, often at the edge of what's been done before.
KIBERNETIKANTO has been working with generative AI in creative and technical contexts since 2020 — from fine-tuning language models for generative applications through to computer vision pipelines, agentic workflows, and day-to-day building with current tools.
Alongside the development and creative technology practice, the studio delivers operational security and infosec training for journalists and activists — including running a course for the Source Protection Programme at the Centre for Investigative Journalism. The writing section of this site puts some of that thinking into a form that can be shared.
The studio is led by Orange Clay, who holds an MSci in Creative Computing from Goldsmiths College London.
